Visit Starlight La Mola

Menorca is part of the network of Starlight destinations since 2019 for the quality of its sky, having low light pollution, sharpness of the atmosphere, integration with nature, as well as other characteristics that allow the observation of the stars.

With the purpose of joining the Declaration of the Starlight Foundation (2007) for the defense of the night sky and the right to starlight; We undertake to respect the principles of the Declaration, namely the right to enjoy, contemplate, safeguard, disseminate, and conserve the cultural and/or natural heritage linked to the night sky.

The La Mola Starlight project was born from the interest in heritage education, astronomy, archaeology, the night sky and photography with stars, an opportunity to offer observation, awareness, awareness and education activities to value the candidacy for UNESCO World Heritage in the Fortress of Isabel II.

The minimum number of participants for the development of the activity will be 10 people and maximum 24 (limited places).

The vehicular languages for the execution of the service will be Catalan, Spanish or English (choose at the time of booking).

Additional service "Night photography": possibility for a professional photographer to take an individual, couple or group photograph with the night sky in the background. Price: 12€ per photograph (paid directly to the photographer on the same day of the activity. This service will be performed if there is a minimum of 7 people interested).
